METHOD OF EXTRACTING GAS BY DECOMPOSING GAS HYDRATES INTO GAS AND WATER BY PHYSICAL FIELDS OF CAUSED SELF-GASIFICATION Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC E21B43/295 E21C50/00

Abstract RU 2706039 C1

FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oil and gas industry, in particular to decomposition of gas hydrates to gas and water due to self-gasification of gas hydrates caused by physical fields of mechanical, electrical, seismic energy, as well as acoustic, hydroacoustic and hydrodynamic cavitation with subsequent gas extraction through vertical and / or directional and horizontal wells. Method involves drilling of vertical or directional horizontal wells in a gas hydrate deposit defined by geophysical studies on a five-point scheme at a certain distance from the central well. At that, wells are equipped with production strings, which are perforated before descent, lowering to well through lubricator on geophysical cable "well source of plasma-pulse action" with software to specified point of working formation, at the command of the operator according to the specified program, the calculated number of periodic broadband pulses is initiated. At that, specified certain distance from central well makes 50–100 meters, wherein design effective radii of wells correspond to interference, and production strings are equipped with heating cables to prevent loss of hydrates during operation and blowout devices such as lubricator with high pressure manometer. Then wells to the mouth are filled with antifreeze liquid – antifreeze or antifreeze, which promotes heating of the well bottom zone, at that the specified point of the working formation is related to the unit of mass (fractal), and broadband pulses initiate equal force, spaced by time for 30 seconds for non-deflating fluid absorption by productive layer – antifriction antifreeze or antifreeze, which will lead to creation of artificial cracks, occurrence of gas bubbles, hydroacoustic and acoustic cavitation and as a result – heating of medium due to thermal synergetic effect, which promotes decomposition of gas hydrates into gas and water, further, "well source of plasma-pulse action" is moved and as it moves along points related to unit of mass, pressure will increase to maximum values, which are fixed on lubricator pressure gage. When maximum pressure "source of plasma-pulse action" is extracted through lubricator, and well is put into operation, and operations on effects are repeated in each of five wells.

EFFECT: technical result of the proposed invention is an increase in the efficiency of the method of extracting gas by decomposing gas hydrates into gas and water by enhancing the self-gasification process of gas hydrates, which is caused by a complex effect on the gas hydrate deposit (GHD), which creates a thermal synergetic effect.
