FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to spectral analysis and relates to a device for spectral analysis of radiation from objects. Device comprises series-connected optical unit with lens, optical filter, CCD matrix, digital processing hardware and display system. Optical filter represents a turning polyhedral drum with mirrors, on which transparent coatings of various thickness h are applied. Inclination angle of mirrors relative to radiation flux i is set by changing number of drum faces p and is determined from relationship i=360/p. Wavelength of the spectrum, measured with the help of each mirror, is determined from the ratio: λ=4h(n2-sin2i)1/2/3, where n is refraction index of coating material. Drum rotation device is connected to digital processing hardware via synchronization unit.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of sensitivity and resolution of device.
