FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of ceramic cellular structures for extraction of carbon dioxide or other gaseous chemical compounds from gas flows or as catalytic converters. Extruded ceramic composite material contains a pre-sintered powdered material of a ceramic matrix, a plurality of particles having an aspect ratio of about 1 to about 100, a binding substance or an extrusion additive and a carrier liquid. Matrix contains at least one powdery zeolite and a second powder material from a group comprising titanates, aluminium oxides, silicon oxides, zirconium oxides, aluminosilicates, cordierite and any mixture thereof. Said plurality of particles is structurally reinforcing particles and/or heat conduction modifying particles. Extruded ceramic material is subjected to extrusion and heat treatment at temperature from 300 to 700 °C.
EFFECT: technical result of invention is obtaining articles with high strength and/or improved heat conductivity.
