FIELD: rocket equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to transport, in particular, to start positions of ballistic transport systems. Starting plant consists of power structure (shaft, starter table) with gas deflector, gas outlet channel and easily releasing hatch. In the upper part the starting plant comprises a heat-insulated canopy with a hangar, which contains a normally closed gate, divided into two and more sections. Proposed structure comprises lifting supports accommodating ballistic transport vehicle consisting of acceleration unit with flight control system, cargo container with cargo loading hatch and parachute landing system. Method of using said starting plant includes stage of BTV readiness storage and checking and stage of its start-up with preliminary removal of service tower, and removal of maintenance tower (insulated dome) is carried out by dismantling on section either by personnel, or by triggering of pyro-suppression. Cargo container of BTV when on the starting plant is empty, and upon receipt of application for delivery of required cargo, cargo container is filled with arriving equipment delivering required cargo, at that, flight program may be introduced into BTV control system.
EFFECT: higher efficiency and reliability of provision of emergency cargo delivery in conditions of low temperatures using BTV in the form of rocket stage and cargo container attached to it.
