SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to biotechnology. Disclosed is a method of reducing concentration of acrylic acid in aqueous solution of acrylamide, a method of producing aqueous solution of acrylamide (embodiments). Each of the proposed methods includes addition of a bioconversion of the obtained composition with addition of additional acrylonitrile and maintenance of acrylonitrile content at acrylonitrile to acrylamide of biocatalyst, acrylonitrile and water, at 0.3 wt/wt. % or more. First, the acrylonitrile content is maintained in the first range of 1.2 to 6 wt/wt. % during the first period of time from 30 minutes to 4 hours, further reducing the acrylonitrile content to the second range and maintaining the acrylonitrile content in the second range of 0.3 up to 1.2 wt/wt. % during the second period of time from 30 minutes to 24 hours. In one embodiment, the method of producing an aqueous solution of acrylamide involves maintaining the content of acrylonitrile during bioconversion until the acrylamide content is not more than 20 wt/wt. %, and in another embodiment, a composition is obtained in which the concentration of acrylic acid in the composition at the end bioconversion is 1,500 parts per million or less.

EFFECT: invention enables to obtain an aqueous solution of acrylamide with low concentration of acrylic acid.
