FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to design of multi-screw unmanned aerial vehicles of vertical takeoff and landing and methods of their control. Modular multi-screw unmanned aerial vehicle of vertical take-off and landing includes a housing installed on it on easy-detachable connections of the cantilever with engines and propellers, flight controller, sensors determining the position of the aircraft in the air and its dynamics, a sensor for determining the location of rotation axes of the screws of each cantilever, at least three weight sensors, a freight container. Housing is made in the form of beams connected to each other on easy detachable joints. Cantilevers are made in the form of finished electronic-mechanical devices with their controllers. After assembling the flight configuration of the aircraft, the flight controller polls the cantilevers installed on it, as well as the sensors for positioning axes of the propellers of the cantilevers and weight sensors and uses these parameters for control.
EFFECT: optimization of apparatus parameters to conditions of specific flight task is provided.
