SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of aviation, in particular to the design of protection elements for unmanned propeller-driven aircrafts (hereinafter – UAV) of vertical takeoff and landing. The vertical takeoff and landing UAV contains a protective shell, inside which the flight controller, sensors, batteries, and at least one engine with an air propeller are installed. The protective shell contains rods, between which cables are stretched so that the rods do not touch each other. The flight controller, sensors, batteries and the propeller engine are installed inside the volume formed by the ends of the rods and cables stretched between the ends of the rods.

EFFECT: invention provides reduced weight of the UAV and shock loads.
