FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to nuclear power engineering, namely, to steam generators with liquid metal heat carrier. Reverse-type steam generator for fast neutron reactor with lead heat carrier comprises cylindrical housing with inner bundle of heat exchange tubes, ends of which are fixed in tube plates with intermediate support grids, inlet and outlet spherical chambers for supply of liquid metal coolant, lower branch pipe for water inlet and upper branch pipe for steam outlet. Cylindrical housing is arranged horizontally and is curved Z-shaped with height difference, wherein bundle of heat exchange tubes is also made Z-shaped, repeating bend of cylindrical housing.
EFFECT: invention allows providing structure self-compensation, reduces weight of steam generator design and reduces operating costs.
