FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to surface treatment of metal material by diffusion into surface and can be used, in particular, for cleaning, recovery and hardening of internal cylindrical surface of rifled barrel. Method of surface treatment of an internal cylindrical surface of a rifled barrel of a weapon, in which prior to application of a coating, an inner surface of a rifled barrel is scanned with the help of a laser, 2-3 washers of steel with hardness of 60 HRC, which is commensurable with the inner diameter of the bore, are cut out, said washers are fixed as a cleaning and rubbing elements on a rod-ramrod of a tool assembly at distance of 5–7 cm between them. Then, injected into the barrel on both sides is up to 50 mg of the process fluid in the form of a spray with content of the tribo-composition consumable in form of a powdered fine composition of olivine from 1–2 g / 150 mg of the spray. After that rod-rod with grinding washers are inserted tightly into barrel, reciprocating movement of rod-ramrod is performed in shaft for at least 20 minutes with simultaneous reciprocal movement of rubbing washers along channels of barrel cutting for cleaning-rubbing. Device for carrying out said method comprises a bed mounted on a table, a power cylinder of a reciprocating drive, on which a tool unit is fixed, comprising a working unit for machining of the inner surface of a rifled barrel, comprising means for supplying process liquid into a rifled barrel, consumable material, rubbing element installed with possibility of movement along longitudinal axis inside the rifled barrel, unit for attachment of rifled barrel and control panel. Power cylinder with tooling unit secured thereon with working processing unit is arranged horizontally on the bed. Assembly of threaded barrel assembly is a holder, in which a threaded shaft is horizontally fixed, wherein the axis of the rifled barrel coincides with the axis of the working processing unit, which is a rod-rod input during machining into the rifled barrel with attached to it by means of cotter-pin spindles and rubbing elements installed in the bushings at distance of 5–7 cm between them.
EFFECT: simplified means for cleaning, recovery and hardening of the inner cylindrical surface of the rifled barrel of the weapon.
