FIELD: weapons and ammunition.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to counters of number of shots. Method for determining the balance of ammunition during firing with high-speed guns consists in the fact that after the operator enters the computer system the number of shots in the ammunition during production of firing selectors of pulses are selected consecutive pulses, in time coinciding with duration of shot and duration of time of changing forward position of gun slide. System defines this sequence as a "shot". Shot is subtracted from the value of the ammunition set by the operator.
EFFECT: optimization of firing mode, determination of remains of warheads in gun ammunition.
