SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of municipal services and can be used for mechanical treatment of effluents from coarse impurities. Method of treating waste water from coarse impurities at sewage pumping stations in automatic mode involves feeding waste water, filtering them through a filtration container and replacing impregnated filtration container on empty under continuous stream of waste water in automatic mode with control of filling of filtration container with wastes. Information on filling the filtration container is transmitted to the dispatch station. Filled filtration container is lifted from the receiving reservoir. Filtration container is changed to empty so that quality of mechanical treatment of waste water or efficiency of cleaning is not reduced. Presence of specialized personnel at the sewage pumping station is limited.

EFFECT: invention enables to provide an automated process and improve the quality of mechanical treatment of waste water from coarse impurities at sewage pumping stations.
