FIELD: construction and utilities.
SUBSTANCE: used to treat wastewater from coarse impurities (sand, dirt, sludge). The group of inventions relates to the field of construction and public utilities. The method consists in supplying wastewater through the drain, filtering it, collecting coarse impurities in the filtration chambers, controlling the filling of the filtration chambers and periodically cleaning them from coarse impurities by specialized personnel. Previously, the inlet of the drain into the sewer is equipped with a mesh trap to retain coarse impurities. Then the mesh traps are removed, the volume of coarsely dispersed impurities received over a period of time is measured. Next, data are collected and analyzed to determine the volume of coarse impurities entering the sewer during the service time period. After that, a drain is equipped to carry out filtration on the surface of the open section of the drain with at least one filtration chamber made rectangular, open at the top, located transversely and in depth - below the level of the drain by 0.1-0.3 m. The total volume of at least one chamber located below the level of the drain is more than the volume of coarse impurities determined in the analysis by 5-20%. The near edge of the chamber is located at a distance of 0.3-0.5 m in front of the closed part of the drain or the entrance to the sewer. The filling of the filtration chambers is monitored visually during a periodic bypass. Cleaning from coarse impurities of the filtration chambers is carried out with a mechanical scraper. Drainage section contains at least one settling filtration chamber with sewage inlet and outlet, made with the possibility of cleaning. The drain section is made open, the drain inlet to the sewer is made with the possibility of installing a mesh trap to retain coarse impurities, followed by its extraction and measurement of the volume of coarse impurities to determine the volume of coarse impurities entering the sewer during the service time period. The settling chamber is made in the form of a rectangular chamber, open at the top, located transversely and in depth - below the level of the drain by 0.1-0.3 m. The total volume of at least one chamber located below the level of the drain is more than the volume of coarse impurities determined in the analysis by 5-20%during the maintenance period. The near edge of the chamber is located at a distance of 0.3-0.5 m in front of the closed part of the drain or the entrance to the sewer. The width of the filtration chamber along the water flow is not less than the width of a mechanical scraper designed to clean this chamber.
EFFECT: possibility of protection against contamination by mechanical coarse impurities of industrial or storm sewers and closed drains.
