FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of super-hydrophobic coatings with moisture-proof and anti-icing properties on surface of aluminum and its alloys, and can be used to provide long-term protection against ice-freeze deposits and accompanying corrosion of various structures and structures. Method includes treatment of surface of aluminum or its alloy by electrolytic oxidation in mode of plasma microdischarges at variable polarization of treated surface with constant amplitude density of anode ja and cathode jc currents equal to 0.3–0.5 A/cm2, and at frequency of polarizing pulses of 200–300 Hz during 3,000–3,600 s in electrolyte containing, g/l: KOH 1.5–2.5 and Na2SiO3 15–25. Further, ultrafine polytetrafluoroethylene of averaged fractional composition from its dispersion in isopropyl alcohol is applied on the treated surface by short-term immersion from 1 to 3 times with drying in a convection flow and subsequent heat treatment at 340–350 °C for 10–15 minutes after each immersion.
EFFECT: high adhesion of the applied composite polymer-containing coating, high mechanical strength and durability.
