FIELD: plastic processing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to blow press mould for making containers from thermoplastic material. Blow press mould for making PET containers comprises an inner surface corresponding to the outer contour of the container, on which there are one or more cavities or ledges designed to make corresponding protrusions or cavities on the outer surface of the container. At that, mould comprises one or more ventilation grooves along edge limiting said cavities or projections. Along these grooves a plurality of ventilation openings can be arranged, wherein some ventilation holes can also be located outside such grooves.
EFFECT: width and depth of said grooves are selected depending on the thickness of the wall of the blown container in order to prevent deformation of the container during blowing, which can block the ventilation openings and leave visible traces on the container.
