FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of fast curable polymer compositions intended for use in veterinary science. More specifically, a biologically inert polymer adhesive for preventing diseases and repairing hooves of agricultural and wild animals, containing a polymer-containing component and a liquid catalyst, which are used by mixing them in a weight ratio of 2:1, respectively. In said composition, the polymer-containing component is a dry mixture in form of a powder containing (in wt. %) 60.0–70.0 % polymethyl methacrylate, 25.0–35.0 % ground dust-like quartz, 0.5–1.5 % aerosil and 2.0–4.0 % of benzoyl peroxide; and liquid catalyst includes following components in form of solution (wt. %): 78.0–88.0 % ethyl methacrylate, 9.0–19.0 % methyl methacrylate and 1.5–4.5 % p-toluidine.
EFFECT: invention increases elasticity and aggressiveness of the adhesive while maintaining the rate of hardening.
