Disclosed is a nozzle for a vacuum cleaner, comprising a rotary brush (B) having a light distribution mechanism for distributing light from the rotary brush (B), a transparent screen through which the user can see the rotary brush (B), and a drive mechanism for rotating the rotary brush (B). Light distribution mechanism may have a plurality of illumination positions (L) on the rotary brush (B). Light distribution mechanism can have multiple light sources distributed over the surface of the rotary brush (B). Light distribution mechanism can have a light guide (LG) inside the rotary brush (B), from which light comes out in a plurality of light positions (L), and can also have a light source (LED) for supplying light into the light guide (LG). In an alternative version, the light distribution mechanism has a plurality of mirrors in the illumination positions (L). Nozzle for the vacuum cleaner can also have a sensor for measuring rotation speed of the rotary brush (B), and a controller for controlling light distributed from the rotating brush (B) depending on the rotation speed. Nozzle for the vacuum cleaner can be used in a vacuum cleaner, also having a refuse collection garbage collection unit.
