SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to household devices with a Wi-Fi connection. Robot vacuum cleaner with Wi-Fi function comprises a housing, inside which there is a unit for performing cleaning, movement and orientation of the vacuum cleaner, as well as a wireless Wi-Fi control unit connected to the microcontroller of the vacuum cleaner control module, wherein the wireless Wi-Fi control unit is configured to transmit, record and filter the Wi-Fi signal against the background of interference. Method of Wi-Fi control of robot vacuum cleaner consists in connection of remote control device, adding a robot vacuum cleaner to a mobile application of a remote control device, starting and/or stopping cleaning, selecting a cleaning mode, setting up a cleaning plan, selecting rooms, setting up cleaning scheduling in accordance with a schedule set by the user, monitoring the state of the robot vacuum cleaner, including monitoring the battery charge level, checking the status of filters, monitoring the state of the sensor units and the engine unit, activating the cleaning process and returning to the base.
EFFECT: high stability of connecting a vacuum cleaner to a wireless Wi-Fi network for remote control of operating modes and monitoring the state of working units while maintaining high efficiency of the vacuum cleaner device as a whole and operation of the Wi-Fi signal transceiver unit built into the robot vacuum cleaner, in particular.
