FIELD: construction.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction and is used as foundation-base for metal or wooden columns-posts of different cross-section. Pile consists of a solid body made from a pipe. Body has a cylindrical zone with a constant cross-section diameter, a conical zone with gradually decreasing cross-section diameter, a sharpened end having a spiral located on the cylindrical and conical zones of the outer surface of the body. Pointed end has four flat faces, mutual arrangement of which corresponds to arrangement of faces in the pyramid. Two first opposite sections of conjugation of two adjacent flat faces are made in the form of smooth radial transitions. Two second opposite sections of conjugation of two adjacent flat faces are made in the form of ledges formed by flattened to contact walls of pipe, from which pile body is made.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of soil layers destruction by pointed end of pile.
