FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopedics, and can be used for treating equinovarus deformation of a severe pile in children. Z-shaped elongation of the Achilles tendon is performed with leaving its external part at an attachment point to calcaneal bone. Ankle joint capsulotomy is performed on posterior, medial and anterior surfaces. Footstep redressement is performed. Foot is fixed with K-wires with the possibility of achieving the required hypercorrection. Corrective osteotomy and modeling resection of the medial malleolus is performed to form a "bed" for placement of a posterior neurovascular bundle.
EFFECT: invention provides the higher clinical effectiveness by optimizing and minimizing the surgical intervention in eliminating the equinovarus deformation of the foot of a severe degree in children, excluding the repeated operation aimed at dismantling the external fixation apparatus.
