FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the electrical engineering. Electrical socket includes a protective housing equipped with a plurality of plug sockets configured to receive corresponding contact pins; wherein each of the said plug sockets is electrically connected to the terminal by means of contacts, which can together change over from the closed position corresponding to the circuit closing, into the open position corresponding to the circuit opening, and back. Closed position of contacts provides electrical connection between plug socket and terminal. Open position breaks the electric connection between the plug socket and the terminal. Socket comprises mechanism for mechanical fixation of plug in socket at closed position of contacts and mechanism for mechanical fixation of breaker at open position of contacts when plug is not inserted into socket. Socket also contains a drive element, which simultaneously actuates the specified fixation mechanism and interrupter, by activating mutually movable contacts.

EFFECT: providing compact design of socket with interlocking.
