FIELD: woodworking industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to woodworking, particularly to production of particle boards. Performing formation of chip mat, hot pressing of plates, measurement of direction and size of plates warpage at least 5 minutes after unloading of plate from press. Surface of the chip mat, towards which the middle of the plate is concaved, is irrigated with water, the amount of which depends on the warpage size, thickness and density of the plate and the time of measuring of its warpage.
EFFECT: reduced warpage of particle boards.
