FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of stabilizing movement of self-propelled transport-process vehicles with hinged or semi-mounted functional equipment in the form of composite movable parts that have mobility relative to its machine. Method of machine stabilization consists in creation of stabilizing forces acting on machine housing by means of actuator. In the process of creating the stabilizing forces, an active force is generated, with the possibility of rotation of the mobile component of the machine relative to its housing, and reaction force acting on the machine housing. Active force and force of reaction are created with reference to center of mass of machine housing opposite directed torque moments with arms of different sizes. By means of differences of values providing formation of stabilizing moment acting against direction of angular movement of machine housing with its return to initial position.

EFFECT: alignment of machine body position is achieved.
