METHOD OF RESTORATION AND PREVENTION OF FURTHER DESTRUCTION OF DISTURBED SLOPE SOIL SECTIONS OF GREAT STEEPNESS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC E02D17/20

Abstract RU 2708435 C1

FIELD: ecology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to environmental safety, namely for restoration and further protection of slope sections with slope of more than 45 degrees, disturbed as a result of technogenic impacts, destruction due to erosion processes, as well as for restoration and protection of slopes of soil planning embankments, roads and railroads, open pits, slopes of earth dams, etc. Method of recovery and prevention of further destruction of disturbed slope soil sections of great steepness, during which protective coating is laid on surface of reinforced disturbed soil slope or slope with subsequent fixation on reinforced surface. As a protective coating of the strengthened slope there used are webs of high-density biomass, besides, each of the biomate webs contains external, i.e. upper and lower layers and inner layer. Upper and lower layers are made in the form of woven or non-woven fabrics of decaying natural fibers of vegetal origin, and the internal layer of the biomass includes seeds of plants, mineral or organic fertilizers, growth stimulators and water-retaining components. Reinforcing devices are used to fix the biomass on the strengthened slope. After laying and fixing biomats on their surface synthetic chutes and water drains are installed, and in lower part of broken reinforced slope receiving groove is installed. Said synthetic chutes fixed on the surface of biomats are arranged parallel to each other and interconnected by said water drains, besides, said chutes and water drains, fixed on the surface of biomats, are connected to the receiving chute fixed in the lower part of the strengthened slope, with the possibility of formation of a drainage system.

EFFECT: disclosed is a method of recovery and prevention of further destruction of disturbed slope soil sections of high steepness.
