FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a method of controlling a compressor system located in a heat transfer circuit, wherein the compressor system is configured to operate at least two different stages of compressor capacity. Compressor efficiency stages are controlled by a capacity control system that allows switching from one stage of compressor capacity to another stage of compressor capacity. Performance control system is controlled by a capacity selection signal which sets the compressor output stage to be selected. Method includes determination of specified value of efficiency, determination of value of decision making on the basis of specified value of productivity, determination of calculated average value of productivity on the basis of previously generated signals of performance selection, comparing the calculated average performance value with the decision value and changing the compressor performance stage to the next higher step if the calculated average performance value is lower than the decision value, or changing the compressor performance stage to the next lower step if the calculated average performance value is higher than the decision value, or not change of stage of compressor capacity, if calculated average value of efficiency corresponds to value of decision making.
EFFECT: technical result is providing advance control.
