FIELD: electrical equipment; clocks and other time meters.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electronic time devices with digital indication. Result is achieved by using permanent memory (ROM), which records tabular data on time of sunrise and sunset on each day of the year and data on duration of burning time of each of N orbits of LEDs on each day of the year. ROM is replaceable and table data are entered, which depend on geographic coordinates of the area where the clock is located. Clock consists of a time keeper, which is powered from a backup power supply, a control device, digital indicators displaying information on the year, month, number of the month, on the time (hours, minutes), on the time of sunrise and sunset. Control device is connected to the subtraction, division and two counters included in the clock, one of which operates for subtraction and the other one is for addition, which is connected through two decoders with switches to rows and columns of the LED matrix, from which the Sun orbit consists. Front face of the watch is divided into upper and lower parts, in the lower part there are digital indicators, in the upper part there is an orbit of the Sun in the form of a semicircle, consisting of N number of light-emitting diodes, and below the orbit there is a narrow strip of landscape.
EFFECT: improved consumer properties of clocks due to inclusion of additional indicted information on sunrise and sunset and visualization of its movement in orbit in the form of semicircle of light-emitting diodes.
