FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of periodic reinforced steel products. Method includes formation in system of drawing roll-passes of roll in form of blanks joined by diagonal of square cross section, forming on each edge of workpieces longitudinal local bulges, having cross-section of segments, longitudinal separation of workpieces, their rotation by 45° around longitudinal axis, further rolling of separated billets in pre-finishing and finishing roll-passes. Possibility of reducing wear and increasing service life of finishing and finishing roll-passes and resource of rolling rolls as a whole is provided due to that pre-cleaning of separated workpieces is carried out in rhombic roll-passes with rounded vertices, wherein width B and height H of rhombic roll-passes is specified by mathematical relationships, and rounding radius R1 rhombic roll-passes vertices are made equal to radius R2 segments of local bulges on faces of workpieces, height of rounding of vertices of rhombic roll-pass Hr are made equal to height of segments of local bulges Hb.

EFFECT: reduced wear and increased service life of pre-finishing and finishing roll-passes and service life of rolling rolls.
