FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measurement equipment, namely to gyroscopic angular velocity converters based on dynamically tuned gyroscope. Angular velocity sensor (AVS) based on a dynamically adjustable gyroscope comprises a housing, a rotor, in a two-axial cardan suspension and two measurement channels, each having an angle sensor, an amplifier, a torque sensor with a control winding and a torque sensor current meter, wherein the angle sensor and the torque sensor are located on the sensitivity axes perpendicular to each other, and the torque sensor current meter is connected in series to the circuit of its control winding. AVS incorporates an adder and an additional amplifier with amplification factor directly proportional to the product of the transducers of angle transducers and the current sensor and inversely proportional to the quasi-elastic stiffness of the gyroscope.
EFFECT: high accuracy of measuring angular velocity owing to reduced error from cross communication between measuring channels of an AVS.
