FIELD: design of gyrocompasses of analytical type. SUBSTANCE: body of gyroscope is turned through actual azimuthal angles differing from required specified angles by value of error of angular positioning of gyroscope for analytical gyrocompassing with the aid of gyroscopic transmitter of angular speed. Obtained actual angles of azimuthal turn of gyroscope and actual signals from standard resistance of gyroscope corresponding to these angles are measured. Heading is calculated analytically with use of values of specified azimuthal angles of turn of gyroscope and values of signals from standard resistance corresponding to specified angles of turn which are found by proposed analytical expression.
