FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to charging electric vehicles traction systems accumulators. Vehicle navigation system to charge location comprises computer programmed to carry out vehicle navigation to location of charge when determining that light received by vehicle sensor is below light threshold, and that current level of vehicle charge or predicted level of charge is below threshold value of charge. Charge location is selected from the location of the photoelectric charge and the location of the induction charge by comparing the predicted or current charge level with the second threshold value of the charge. Method of navigating a vehicle to a charge location is also disclosed.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of accumulators of vehicle.
