SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture and can be used in cultivation of root and tuberous plants, in particular potatoes. Method for increasing yield of tuberous plants, in particular potatoes, includes foliar treatment of vegetating plants in a budding phase before mass blooming by single spraying with an aqueous solution of borate-ethylene diamine disuccinate complex with concentration of 2.0 mM in the working solution and a rate of its consumption of 100 ml/m2.
EFFECT: increased potato yield and nutritive value by environmentally safe method.
