SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture and can be used in the cultivation of potatoes to increase its nutritional value and productivity in an environmentally friendly way. The method includes foliar feeding of potato plants in the phase of the beginning of budding with a working solution, including a plant growth regulator and an aqueous solution of microelements when they are used together. As a plant growth regulator, the Zircon preparation is used with its content in the working solution of 0.1 ml/l, and as microelements, a mixture of EDDIAC complexonates with zinc and copper is used with a concentration of each of them in the working solution of 0.933 g/l. In this case, the consumption rate of the working solution is 300 liters per 1 ha. Additionally, foliar top dressing of potato plants is carried out at a height of potato plants of 20-25 cm with the same working solution in dry calm weather at the same consumption rate. Potato varieties Gala and Red Scarlet are cultivated.

EFFECT: method provides for increasing the resistance of potato plants to late blight, increasing the yield and quality of potato tubers due to phytoactivation of plant disease resistance.
