FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to veterinary science and represents a method for prevention of subclinical, clinical and chronic mastitis in cows, consisting in single intracisternal administration to cows of preparation Orbenin DC before their start-up, differing by the fact that on the second day after cows calving, Ribotan is additionally administered as a single intramuscular injection in dose of 6 ml per 1 head.
EFFECT: use of the declared invention effectively increases the effectiveness of the conducted prevention of subclinical, clinical and chronic mastitis in cows, increases milk productivity of cows, reduces quantity of somatic cells in milk, raises quality of the received milk, reduces duration of treatment of cows with a pathology of a mammary gland.
