FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be widely used in production of fuel briquettes. Invention relates to method of producing fuel briquettes, which includes loading of initial material into channel of screw press, its movement, compaction and heating in channel of screw press, extrusion of pressed mass from channel of screw press by rotating screw, wherein the binder press feeds the binder with the substance in a granular form and mixes it with the raw material until compacted and heated by means of a rotating screw, provided with a section with turns having openings, note here that binder is fed into screw press channel in two places simultaneously. Note here that first feed point is arranged ahead of loading point of feed raw material screw channel and second feed station is arranged therein.
EFFECT: possibility of using logging wastes, ground timber with high bark content and / or woody greens as feedstock.
