FIELD: water and air purification technology.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to an air cleaner comprising a filter cleaning device. Air cleaner includes housing with holes for formation of suction hole and air outlet, air passage connecting suction hole with air outlet, fan located on air passage, filter facing suction hole, filter cleaning device and pollution sensor to determine degree of air pollution, wherein filter cleaning device is configured to provide automatic cleaning mode, in which cleaning device is actuated in first cleaning period for each given first cycle, and actuation of the cleaning device is prohibited when satisfying the stop condition when the degree of air contamination of the specified value exceeds the specified period immediately before the first period of cleaning time.
EFFECT: providing an air cleaner with improved filter cleaning.
