SUBSTANCE: invention relates to control of insects reproduction in wide water volumes. Method for controlling eggs and immature forms of insects involves using a composition of a stable aqueous solution containing a carbonyl compound selected from at least one of the following: formaldehyde, acetaldehyde, glyceraldehyde, propional, butyral, pentanal, methylpentanal, ethyl pentanal, tiglynaldehyde, valeric aldehyde, hexanal, heptanal, octanal, nonanal, 2-ethylhexanal, decanal, undecanal, dodecanal, isovaleric aldehyde, chloral hydrate, furfurol, paraformaldehyde, ethane dialdehyde, glyoxal, amberdehyde, glutaraldehyde, adipaldehyde, isophtalaldehyde, ortho-phthalaldehyde, salicylaldehyde and malonaldehyde or mixtures thereof, a surfactant or detergent, a pH regulator to adjust the pH of the solution when obtained to interval of 6.0 to 8.5 and a buffer.

EFFECT: proposed insect control method is effective, ecologically safe within the program of complex control of vector insect vectors.
