SUBSTANCE: bait in gel form comprises one or more insecticidal biologically active substances, the gelling agent, and water-insoluble polymeric capsules enclosed in the gelling agent, with a diameter of 0.1 to 5.0 mm, and the polymeric capsules consist of droplets of one or more agents stimulating the appetite, included in the polymer matrix. And the bait is free from attracting substance or pheromone. The proposed bait provides an effective method of controlling insect pests.
EFFECT: bait has high activity with prolonged use.
