FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a screw-forming screw. Screw-forming screw with a rod has in the front part of the rod a vertex for insertion into the hole in the base, in the rear part of the rod - a drive for transfer of torque to the rod, as well as a spiral groove; and with threaded spiral, which is inserted into spiral groove. Helical groove has a front side surface and a rear side surface located opposite the front side surface. Front lateral surface of the spiral groove has, at least, sections, another profile angle other than the rear side surface of the spiral groove.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at improvement of reliability of a screw with provision of ability of especially high loads.
