FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to construction, namely, to floor covering. Chiral flexible rectangular element of floor covering, relating to type with double-sided connection with application at an angle, has six sides: decorative top surface and bottom surface, as well as four edges. First long edge has first connecting profile with recess on lower surface and tongue overhanging recess. Second long edge opposite to the first long edge has the second connecting profile with ledge on the lower surface and a groove for arrangement of the tab of the first profile. First short edge has the first profile, and the second short edge has the second profile. If to look at element of floor covering from top of upper surface, edges of element of floor covering are arranged in the following order in clockwise direction: 1) first long edge, 2) first short edge, 3) second long edge and 4) second short edge.
EFFECT: technical result consists in simplification of covering assembly.
