FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of pulse equipment and can be used in power converters of control systems of synchronous machines equipped with rotor position sensors and operating in the mode of ac electronic motor. To achieve the technical result, a digital modulator is proposed to control a synchronous motor, which comprises a rectangular pulse generator 1, binary counters 2 and 3, triggers 4 and 5, elements 6, 7 and 8 OR, inverter 9, element 10 AND, register 11, elements 12, 13, 14 and 15 EXCLUSIVE OR, pulse shaper 16, decoder 17, NAND elements 18, 19, 20, 21, 22 and 23, limitation circuit 24, circuit 25 resetting, input signal bus 26, sign bus 27, buses 28, 29 and 30 of the rotor position sensor signal, output buses 31, 32, 33, 34, 35 and 36.
EFFECT: assurance π-commutation of power transistors, which leads to increase of maximum value of phase voltage.
