FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metallurgy. To achieve the technical result, the steel component production method involves heating the steel sheet in a carburizing atmosphere to form a carbonized layer on the steel sheet surface containing the following in wt%: C from 0.0005 to 0.1, Si from 0.01 to 2.0, Mn from 0.05 to 3.0, Al 0.9 or less, P 0.05 or less, S 0.01 or less, Ti from 0.0 to 0.2, Nb from 0.0 to 0.1, Cr from 0 to 2, Mo from 0.0 to 0.2, B from 0.000 to 0.005, iron and impurities – the rest and structure of steel, represented by ferrite with an area fraction of 70 % or more, forming a steel sheet using metal dies and making hardening of a steel sheet in the state of its staying in metal dies for conversion of the carbonized layer into martensite and to give that part of steel sheet, which is under carbonized layer, steel structure, represented by ferrite with 50 % area of area or more.
EFFECT: higher impact viscosity, fatigue limit and abrasion resistance.
