SUBSTANCE: invention relates to devices for sitting or standing operation, can be used in all industries, in all educational institutions and in everyday life for work on computer. Adjustable device for sitting or standing operation comprises a tabletop provided with a mechanism for changing its height, where the table top is rigidly connected to a rod of a vertically arranged pneumatic cylinder, which covers are rigidly connected to the transition elements, lower planes of which rest on the scale of the vertical support, the axis of which is parallel to the axis of the pneumatic cylinder and is with it in one plane, where the holes of the transition elements, as well as the holes of the plates, go beyond the dimensions of the section of the vertical support, wherein plates, resting on vertical support on opposite side from contact surface of transition elements, are connected through their holes and holes of transition elements by fasteners, and pneumatic cylinder is connected by flexible universal pneumatic line with switch connected via flexible pneumatic line to pressure source. In the second version of the device, the pneumatic cylinder is connected by a flexible universal pneumatic line with a connector connected to the exhaust switch and a pressure switch connected through a pressure pneumatic line to the pressure source. In the third version, inlet and outlet of pneumatic cylinder are connected by flexible inlet and outlet pneumatic lines with flow switch connected to pressure switch connected to pressure source.

EFFECT: invention is aimed at improving the tabletop level fixation reliability at any allowable height.
