FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building, particularly, to means of balancing rotary machines, namely gas turbine engine. Object of the invention is a tool for balancing a gas turbine engine module (10) in a balancing machine, wherein the module comprises at least one stator case (14) and rotor (16) comprising shaft (18) with a longitudinal axis A and at least one blade stage (20) surrounded by said stator casing (14). Said tool comprises at least one balancing frame (14) comprising rotor (16) thrust bearing, first and second means (30, 32) configured to be mounted on said stator casing (14), third and fourth means (34, 36) provided on said frame (24) for securing said first and second means (30, 32) on said frame, fifth means of transporting frame (24) and sixth support means (84, 94) of frame provided on said frame (24) and configured to interact with both balancing machine and fifth means of transporting frame (24).
EFFECT: technical result consists in ensuring safe transportation of said module, its installation and attachment in a balancing machine without risk of damage, reduced time costs for balancing operation.
