FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to dentistry, and can be used for treating and preventing dental diseases, such as dental caries and periodontium diseases. That is ensured by phonophoresis of 10 % calcium gluconate solution alternated every other day with 5 % ascorbic acid solution. Patient is exposed to ultrasound by the ultrasound on the alveolar process of the jaw by placing on mucobuccal fold of a wad-gauze plug impregnated with said solutions on the transient fold, which is insulated from the inner side of the jaw by a film which is impermeable for liquids. Further, on the jaw outer side, on the mucobuccal fold projection, external phonophoresis is carried out by moving the radiator along the cheek skin, lubricated with an ointment in a media-distal direction with an ultrasonic oscillation frequency of 830 kHz, intensity of 0.6 W/cm² for 3–5 minutes with 5–10 procedures per therapeutic course.

EFFECT: method provides a safe therapeutic effect by avoiding the threat of a cross infection.
