SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a vehicle heater. Compressor with side channel comprises compressor housing (38), on which space (44) for air passage is made, which is made with possibility of passing through it supplied combustion air. Air passing through at least one inlet (50) into air passage space (44) passes to feed area (72). Compressor casing (38) comprises wall (42) of bottom, and zone (72) of supply in wall (42) of bottom of casing (38) of compressor includes openings to the outer side, which faces from space (44) for air passage, annularly surrounding axis of rotation and overlapped feed channel (46) by feed wheel (48). Space (44) for passage of air through at least one outlet opening (52) is open to supply channel (46). On compressor housing (38) there is an overlapping supply wheel (48) and by means of housing (38) of compressor restricting receiving space for supply wheel cover (70) of housing, and peripheral wall (40) containing surrounding air space (44). At least one part of peripheral wall (40) is made on housing cover (70).
EFFECT: reduced weight of compressor.
