FIELD: process.
SUBSTANCE: engine for thermo abrasive treatment contains compressor, vessels for fuel, abrasive and water, jointed to each other, and accelerator. Accelerator contains combustion chamber with fuel injector, bottom, abrasive branch in the form of shaft, jacket, in which it is located supersonic nozzle, additional combustion chamber with tangential holes near by bottom, installed with expansion clearance. Expansion clearance is located according to conditions of providing combustion chamber elongation and coaxial to the last. In bottom it is located fuel branch, outside of which it is located thermo protective envelope and stabiliser. Stabiliser is connected to fuel branch by means of spray injector and ultrasonic dispensers, implemented in the form of bucket. Combustion chamber is with air duct, having cutouts for air and which is connected to jacket. Abrasive branch is installed coaxial and open to supersonic nozzle. Method includes treatment of surface coating by supersonic jet, made of three components: combustion materials, water and abrasive, which are accepted in ratios mentioned in description.
EFFECT: productivity and efficiency improving of surface treatment.
