FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hand firearms short-barreled weapons, more specifically to revolvers with disk drums, named by authors "flat revolvers", mainly police and civilian types. Disk revolver with folding body comprises interconnected body (1) and handle (2) with trigger bracket (3), delimited by horizontal plane of connector (4), at least one shaft (5) (in example – two barrels (5, 6)), installed in housing (1), at least, one disk drum (7) (in the example, two drums including spare (17)) with horizontal transverse axis of stepwise rotation (angular pitch φ) and chordally spaced apart and spaced from each other with the same angular pitch (φ) of cartridge gates (9). Drum (7) is installed on axis (10) in the cavity of handle (2). There are mechanisms of rotation and fixation of drum (7) in combat positions with coaxiality of any of chambers (9) to the barrel channel(s) (5, 6) bullet chamber and a micro-gap between the cylindrical surface of drum (7) and the hemp(s) surface of the barrel(s) (5, 6), firing mechanism (FM) and recharging device. Housing (1) and handle (2) are interconnected by means of transverse hinge (11) located in front part of trigger clip (3), and spring retainer (12) located in rear parts of housing (1) and handle (2), with possibility of hinge body (1) on hinge (11) with incline of barrel(s) (5, 6) downwards and opening of access to drum (7) and mechanisms, at least from above. There are several additional structural features.

EFFECT: use makes it possible to improve technical and operational characteristics of a disc revolver in terms of providing the possibility of its complex "opening" with convenient access both to a combat drum without its mandatory extraction and to FM, improved manufacturability and ergonomic indices and expanded range of models.
