SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agricultural machine building. Method consists in soil loosening with compressed air pulses. Soil treatment is performed by precision intrasoil at angle of 30–40° to horizontal surface by high-turbulent action compressed air impact beats. Depth of treatment is varied depending on cultivated crop, and pitch of tillage of soil in direction of movement of unit – from number of detachable working elements, with ratio of tillage to width of processing row and its depth of 2:3:4.

EFFECT: method makes it possible to carry out soil cultivation without destruction of its structure.
