SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oral hygiene products. Proposed agent for oral care contains active abrasive and adsorbent component, forming component in form of sodium alginate, water-retaining agent in form of glycerine medical, as well as antimicrobial components represented by essential oils and an alcohol solution of menthol. At that, as active abrasive and adsorbent component in the composition there used is highly dispersive enterosorbent Polysorb MP with particle size of up to 0.09 mm, and essential oils of meadow mint, or lavender, or cloves, or Manuka are used from essential oils, with following ratio of components, wt. %: Algogel 6021 high viscosity sodium alginate 1.0–1.25, medical glycerine 15.0–40.0, Polysorb MP 6.0–8.0, menthol alcohol solution 60 % 0.3–1.0, sodium lauryl ethoxysulphate (SLES-70) foam agent 1.5–2.0, meadow mint or lavender, or cloves, or Manuka essential oils - 0.15, purified water 47.6–76.05.

EFFECT: composition of the agent provides high sorption and cleaning capacity with sparing effect on dentine, safety for gastrointestinal tract if swallowed, sparing brushing of teeth and oral mucosa with high adhesiveness and reparative capabilities.
