FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing acrylic acid and methyl acrylate, comprising passing initial gas containing dimethoxymethane and carbon monoxide (II) through a reactor loaded with a molecular sieve-based catalyst, with carrying out a reaction for producing acrylic acid as a basic product and methyl acrylate, methyl acetate and acetic acid, in which the reaction is carried out at a reaction temperature of 220 °C to 400 °C, at reaction pressure from 0.1 MPa to 15.0 MPa, volume-mass rate of supply of dimethoxymethane in initial gas from 0.05 h-1 up to 10.0 h-1 and volume percentage of dimethoxymethane in initial gas from 0.1 % to 95 %.
EFFECT: synthesis method facilitates production of acrylic acid and methyl acrylate from inexpensive raw material with high degree of conversion and selectivity.
