FIELD: image forming devices.

SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a process cartridge that is replaceable in an image forming apparatus and an image forming apparatus including a process cartridge. Disclosed group of inventions includes process cartridge and image forming device. Process cartridge comprises: (i) a first module including a photosensitive drum and a positioning portion, (ii) a second module configured to move relative to said first module, wherein said second module includes: (ii-i) a rotatable developing roller for developing an electrostatic latent image formed on said photosensitive drum, (ii-ii) a rotatable member having an axis in a position deviated from the axis of said development roller, (ii-iii) connecting element provided on said rotary member, and (ii-iv) receiving drive force section provided on said connecting member and movable relative to said rotatable member in a direction crossing an axis of said driving force receiving portion, to receive driving force to be transmitted to said development roller, and (ii-v) a supporting portion for rotatably supporting said driving force receiving portion so as to be movable together with said driving force receiving portion relative to said rotatable member in a direction crossing an axis of said driving force receiving portion, and (iii) a clamping portion for urging said drive-receiving portion and said supporting portion in a direction towards said positioning portion, wherein said positioning portion is configured to position said drive-receiving portion by contact with said support portion, wherein the contact point between said positioning portion and said supporting portion is located outside the outer periphery of said photosensitive drum in a plane perpendicular to the axis of said photosensitive drum.

EFFECT: technical result consists in providing a process cartridge and an imaging device capable of increasing the interval between the drive input to the photosensitive drum and the drive input to the development roller.
